A hundred years ago the wonderful Dave Gedge gave me a crack at some album reviews and interviews for the Bad Acid zine. It was a strange and brave project, jumbling together a pile of generally fried music in a small-format mag alongside a dvd of music and video. Ultimately another victim of the internet of course, but fun while it lasted.
I’m going to dump a bunch of my reviews from that time on here. Looking back I was busy trying to get the Heavy Metal Journo voice nailed while banging out short pieces. They’re not the most accomplished things I’ve ever written, but still I’m happy with them. Most importantly these are records I still rate and would like to share.
